Women is rural areas are always the majority facing the problem of poverty. They are always faced by the challenges of managing their family especially as far as educating their chilren are concern.

Some high yield seeds were donated to a farming group in Bali known as the Mustard Seed Ladies of Njinjoh. This group of farmers are made up of vulnerable women who either have grand children as orphans or are very poor to feed or send their children to school.

One of SR4K’s objectives is to fight child hunger and poverty by empowering mothers through farming, we decided to donate high yield farming seeds to the Mustard Seed Ladies so that they can be able to take care of their children’s education, feeding and health.

The outcome of this project was wonderful because the output of what was donated was encouraging. The Mustard Seed mothers were now able to sell some cultivated produce so as to carter for their children’s wellbeing.

SR4K was very proud to visit one of the Mustard Seed ladies in her farm and the result was impressive.

Donate now with us and end the chain of child hunger and poverty.
