Offering free private classes to pupils

For more than a year now, there has been instability in the two anglophone regions of Cameroon; the North West and South West regions. The educational system has been shutdown in these two regions of the country by some group of people who believed they have been marginalised for many years now. Parents are scared to send their children to school because many cases of dead, brutality and violence have been recorded since the crisis started in November 2016. Every child has the right to education and as one of our objectives is to promote education, SR4K has been offering free private classes to pupils. These classes help keep the children educationally focus, gets them off the dangerous streets, shield them from being targets or victims of violent extremism, recalcitrants, reduces drugs and teenage pregnancies. Parents are still very scared to send their children to these classes, they are afraid they may be harassed on the way. As of now, the turnout for these classes have been low, we hope the number increases.
