Engaged For Peace (Schools)
In the month of October, SR4K continuous with the sensitization campaign on peace and security and this time, it was done in schools. Youths being the vulnerable majority exposed to terrorist recruitment and violent extremist acts, SR4k decided to go to schools to sensitize them on the importance of peace and security.
This part of the campaign was done in primary, secondary and high schools in Wum town; Presbyterian primary school, catholic primary school, government primary school, Government Bilingual Secondary School, Government High School, Government Technical School, Government Technical High School.
We sensitized them on the importance of education, unity, self sustainability, love, patriotism. We also explained to them the disadvantages of being a violent extremist such as being lost, living in danger and despair, being on the wanted list.
